Please note: Because we haven't quite figured out how to fix it yet, the program that displays the manga pages is a bit off. It says that everything's a chapter ahead because of the prologue being in there. So if it says Chapter 2 it's actually Chapter 1, and so on. It's strange, I know.

So very much has changed in the past year! I’m officially done with my Bible studies in Argentina, and in the time home I’ve been working as much as I could on the manga. For now just 2 pages toned and redone, but before I go in a week I’ll do my best to get a few more pages up and maybe even finish the chapter. I was praying hard about where God wanted me to go for future ministry when I finished my time in Argentina, and over the years He’s made it clear where. This year I became engaged to my Angel (the boy I drew in the picture here last December) and we’re to be married in March and do ministry in his home town in Ecuador. I couldn’t be happier at how God’s written our love story, or more amazed at His ability to completely surprise me. Things will be a little bit different from now on, I don’t know my schedule or what will be available down there, but I imagine I’ll have a bit more time since I won’t be in the school schedule like before. It’s funny, but I think I’m more in love with drawing manga with every page that I make. God keeps renewing the desire, and I think that’s His sign to continue. So, updates will still be slow, but definitely more than once a year and now arriving to ya’ll from the heart of Ecuador! Thank you all for being so encouraging over the years and sticking with me. Advocate is over 5 years old (and dang, I’m still on the second chapter…) but still marching (or crawling) forward.
By the way, Matar’s name in the manga has been changed to Mateo. I’ve changed most of the pages and the profiles on the site, I just have to find the original files to change a couple more pages. But from now on he’ll be refered to by that name.
